1. Who we are
Voiceread (“the app”) is a voice-to-text notes app. This policy explains how the app handles information when you use it.
2. Information the app uses
Voiceread may access the following only to provide app features:
- Microphone — to record your voice and create voice notes.
- Speech recognition — to transcribe speech to text using your device’s operating system services.
- Device storage — to save notes, audio recordings, images, and app preferences on your device.
- Camera & photos (if you choose to attach images) — only when you explicitly add a photo to a note.
3. What we do not do
- We do not require an account.
- We do not operate our own servers to store your notes or recordings.
- We do not sell, rent, or share your data with advertisers or data brokers.
- We do not use third-party analytics or tracking SDKs in the app.
4. Where your data is stored
All notes, transcripts, and audio files are stored locally on your device using on-device storage. If you delete the app or clear its data, your content may be permanently removed.
5. Speech recognition & device services
Transcription may use speech recognition provided by your device manufacturer or operating system (for example, Google on Android or Apple on iOS). Those services are governed by their own privacy policies. Voiceread does not send your data to Voiceread-operated servers for transcription.
6. Children’s privacy
Voiceread is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this page from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will reflect any changes. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated policy.
